As a long time resident of the 35th Ward, I have been actively involved in our community.  Whether raising money to save a school from being closed, stopping an illegal construction project, or leading the fight against a special real estate tax, I am committed to improving the quality of life in our community.

Since committing to run for Alderman of the 35th Ward, I have been walking throughout the Ward and talking with neighbors.  I am moved by your willingness to share with me your issues and concerns and your feeling that you are not being heard.

I am running for Alderman of the 35th Ward because I believe that elected representatives should work for their constituents and not for the political insiders.  I share the concerns expressed throughout the community that our City Council representative needs to be accessible to the residents of the Ward, accountable for decisions that affect our community, and committed to providing cost-effective and reliable services to our neighborhoods.
